Balustrade Replacement, Concrete Repairs & Waterproofing Project Completed – October 2025
Our team has recently completed a comprehensive remedial building works project at 473–477 Willoughby Road, Willoughby, delivering important upgrades to the building’s balcony areas and select site elements.
The scope of works was focused on improving structural integrity, compliance, and waterproofing performance, ensuring the building meets current standards while enhancing long-term durability. The project commenced with the careful demolition and removal of existing balustrades, floor finishes, sliding doors, and associated materials.
Key upgrades included the construction of new perimeter hobs with integrated overflows and spitters where required, along with the installation of new sliding doors and compliant balustrades. Extensive concrete repairs were completed across all balcony areas, followed by the application of new waterproofing membrane systems and tiled floor finishes to provide lasting protection against moisture ingress.
Additional works involved the assessment and rectification of masonry divider walls. All works were completed in accordance with Australian building codes and industry best practices, delivering a safer, more resilient outcome for residents.
