New COLA constructions for multiple Department of Education public schools
As a preferred Department of NSW Education contractor, Everest Contracting constructed Covered Outdoor Learning Areas (COLAs) for Miranda, Kirrawee, Tocumwal, Minerva, Jannali and Waterfall Public Schools. Works included:
Site measure and layout design, structural design and workshop drawings, excavation to formation level, proof rolling and undertaking compaction tests, laying road-base and compacting with a roller, compaction tests, excavation, pouring footings and setting holding bolts, forming concrete slabs, erecting steel framing for COLAs and cladding and connecting the COLA to storm water services.
